Our goal is to help more people discover the stock-show industry and further their knowledge of agriculture and livestock production. We supply high-quality show goats that are raised with care and expertise, ensuring they meet the highest standards. By sharing our passion and experience, we aim to inspire others to appreciate the importance of agriculture and livestock.My name is Porter Bingham. I'm the founder of PB Livestock.
I have a burning passion to teach the importance of agriculture and livestock production in this modern day.
I have had experience with various types of livestock, but Boer goats seem to hold a special place in my heart.
Our goats
We are dedicated to maintaining a healthy and strong herd. By keeping them genetically well-built with stout boned with strong muscling. We are setting you up for success in the show ring. It's all about giving you the best shot at standing out and impressing the judges.Our herd consists of Boer goats. The Boer Goat originates from South Africa. Dutch farmers selectively bred boer goats in the Eastern Cape from the 1920s for meat qualities and for the ability to survive by grazing on the rough regions, but now they are commonly found in the show ring.Boer goats are commonly found with white bodies and brown heads. But some boer goats are painted, spotted, or solid brown or black. They are recognized for being fast-growing, and having high fertility rates. They do have superior mothering skills as compared to other breeds of goats.They were first brought to the United States in 1993. That same year the ABGA (American Boer Goat Association) was founded.
